Skateboard Camp at Skate The Foundry

This introduction clinic is for total beginners who have never skateboarded and are new to Skate The Foundry. Within this clinic, beginner skaters will learn how to skateboard safety and accomplish basic tricks/maneuvers.

Important Details:
– Pre-registration is required.
– For children who have never skateboarded before and are interested learning how.
– Maximum Students: 16 per each Clinic Group in WEST PHILLY

Materials provided from Skate The Foundry:

- Skateboard – If a participant already has a skateboard, they can use it. However, No penny boards or longboards are allowed.

- Safety pads including elbow, knee, wrist.

- Helmets – If a participant has a helmet (bicycle helmet is okay), please bring it due to sizing.

Skate the Foundry has been amazing for my kiddo and their love of skateboarding! Brett and the team at Skate The Foundry have helped my child develop such a love of skateboarding and has built so much confidence in it over the past 6 months of lessons with Lilah! We were lucky enough to host their birthday party there this past weekend and it was SO MUCH FUN. The kiddos were all raving, and Brett, Lilah and Possum created the best vibes. Such a fun skate lesson and games and fun for the kids. Couldn't recommend this spot more highly.

Brett was great with my son. He had an awesome time and gained a ton of confidence. Couldn't be happier with this place. The complete boards were "really cool".

My son (6) took at private lesson here last week and am so happy with our experience. The owner is so kind, helpful, and professional and his team is so dedicated to their craft and teaching others the love of skateboarding. They took all the intimidation out of it, and taught my son so many useful tips in such a short period of time. This is truly a Philly gem and would definitely recommend to beginners, especially kids who just need a quality mentor!

Amazing classes. Amazing staff. Everyone is so welcoming and knowledgeable. After attending one class, I felt empowered to skate every day. Lilah was a great instructor and I look forward to being a part of this wonderful skate community! I am a newer skater and I met some really good friends who gave great tips. Kevin is a manager at the store, and he was really kind and supportive. Honestly love this place. Open Skate is pretty open on weekdays and everyone is so supportive.

Amazing spot to learn to skate for all levels! I’ve been skating since I was a kid, but never had the guts to Ollie or ride half pipes. Within my first 10 mins of a private lesson with Brett, I landed an Ollie that was 27 years in the making! One of the best feelings ever. Great for kids, but also really great for adults who want to learn or develop their abilities. Will definitely be back soon
