Whether you’re a complete beginner or seeking to refine your skills, we’ve got you covered. Our rental service provides everything you need to get started, including skateboards and protective pads, both available for just $5 each. Just inform our friendly staff in advance if you’ll be renting equipment. You’ll have the opportunity when booking the lesson.

Once you’ve booked your lesson online or through our mobile app, head over to Black Rock Skatepark, where your expert Foundry instructor will be waiting to guide you on your skateboarding adventure. The session begins with a warm introduction, where the instructor will understand your skateboarding goals, if any, and conduct a thorough stretching and warm-up routine to ensure your safety.

From Basics to Ramps

For first-time skaters, the fundamentals of skateboarding take center stage. Your instructor will guide you through proper foot placement and pushing techniques, the building blocks of safe and enjoyable skateboarding. To accelerate your progress and boost confidence, we utilize specially designed STF training tools that make learning fun and engaging. By the end of the lesson, you might even be ready to ride your first ramp!
