The park’s creation was a collaborative effort between local skaters, the Upper Providence Township administration, and dedicated volunteers. Spanning 10,000 square feet, Black Rock Skatepark features a thoughtfully designed layout that caters to skaters of all abilities. I wish the skatepark near my home had this space and it’s perfect for those jam-packed sessions with friends.
Located at 1286 Black Rock Rd, Phoenixville, PA 19460, Black Rock Skatepark is easily accessible from nearby areas like Phoenixville and Royersford, making it a convenient spot for both quick sessions and day-long adventures.
The skatepark offers a family-friendly environment, welcoming skaters and spectators alike. Best of all, it’s completely free to use, reflecting the community’s commitment to making skateboarding accessible to everyone. Good job to the amazing people at Township of Upper Providence.
STF Skate Camp
Exciting news for young skaters who want to develop their skills: Skate The Foundry will be conducting their Black Rock Skatepark Camp 2024, a summer camp designed for beginner and moderately experienced skateboarders aged 7-13. Running from July 22, 2024, to July 26, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, this camp provides five sessions for a total of $350.00.
Campers get 10% off skate gear at Skate The Foundry (888 N 40th St, Philadelphia, PA 19104) and don’t forget to say hi to the awesome staff there! Bring your own skateboard, helmet, and safety gear (no rentals). Water bottle recommended.
