Upcoming Events (June/July 2022)

We have some amazingly awesome events this weekend and on July 2nd.

Starting tonight at 6pm with a Womens and Queer Skate Sesh, hosted by our instructor, Possum! Stop by and meet fellow women and queer skateboarders in the area. This is our first women/queer sesh since 2020 (due to the pandemic). We plan to continue hosting more of these sessions throughout the summer depending on the outcome of tonight and the next few sessions. So come out, skate, and support the local skate community!

Tomorrow – Foundry celebrates Go Skate Day with an all-day event! Starting off at our Elkins Park location (Wall Park Skatepark), with FREE skateboard lessons (all ages. Boards/pads provided), and then two Best Trick contests (Grom division and Advanced/Intermediate division). Next, the party moves to our West Philly location with the 187 Killer Pads Bowl Jam. Prizes for the top three rippers. Finally, the night ends with live music from Under 95 Band, and more skating! Thanks to our rad sponsors listed on the flyer!

Lastly, we are super stoked to announce… QUEEN OF THE PARK!! This event is hosted through the local skate community at FDR Skatepark (not through STF). However, Skate The Foundry will be one of the vendors. Look for our tent and hang out with us!

Queen of the Park is the second annual girls skate competition at FDR Skatepark! This rad event is happening Saturday, July 2nd 12pm-Dark. Don’t miss out on this legendary day full of amazing lady shredders from all over. You also will catch some amazing vendors… Cool art, sick bands, wild friends, a Gnar Bar, and a good time!

If you would like to compete, sign-ups are at 12pm. All ages are welcome!
