FDR Skatepark pulsed with energy last weekend as it hosted the 2024 Queen of the Park competition. This event wasn’t just about crowning a champion; it was a vibrant celebration of female skateboarding talent, community spirit, and creativity. But the Queen of the Park wasn’t just about the competition. The energy extended beyond the skating area. Local female skaters from FDR impressed the crowd with their unique styles, pushing each other and inspiring the next generation.
